We moved into our current building in October of 2017 after being a mobile church for over 10 years!  What an amazing tool for ministry we have in this place!  Trying to be wise stewards of our resources, we built what we could afford knowing that we would most likely outgrow the Gateway Kidz area. 

That’s exactly what happened.  As our church grew, so did our need to expand the Gateway Kidz area. It continued to grow beyond capacity and we had children learning about Jesus in the hallways! 2022 stands to be another growth year as more and more people are getting vaccinated and businesses are able to open back up after closing due to the pandemic. As life returns to normal, we anticipate families will be returning to church. We want to be prepared to receive children back into a warm, loving space where they can learn about Jesus.

But we need your help! We have unfinished space on the second floor that can be used to expand our Kidz area. The “Finish the Race” initiative is simply a tool to help us focus on the stewardship of life issues related to giving, serving, and sharing our faith.  Over the next several weeks we would like you to commit to praying about what you can do to help make more space for others to learn about God’s love, grace, and healing that we have experienced. It is critical we make sure no one gets left behind as we “Finish the Race”! It is very important to have 100% participation so we will be able to share the joy of completing this project together.  This is an exciting time in the life of our church and you will not want to miss any part of the vision unfolding!

May 23rd we took up a special offering that will help to get the construction started! Together, we raised a little over $60,000 in cash!!! Combined with the pledges we have about $110,000 of the $150,000 needed for our construction goal!!!

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in our Finish the Race campaign!! We are excited to get construction started and hope to be able to update you on that soon.
